New Personal Development Programme

We are pleased to announce that we have been awarded the East Suffolk contract to delivery an Intensive Youth Development Programme. The service will focus on those young people who are furthest away from the labour market and this programme will work alongside our current Youth Employment Service. The programme aims to work with a smaller group of young people to offer intensive support through 121 coaching and possible group work. The programme will work with young people, their families, support workers and other support networks to enable them to progress onto the next steps.

Inspire currently deliver the youth employment service which works with young people who are closest to the labour market. However, the service is now working with more young people who are furthest away from the labour market and who have multiple barriers.

This programme was designed to fill the gap and work with young people who need that intensive support. Young people will be referred from SCC who have been identified as needs that intensive support and will work with a Youth Development Coach to build their confidence, skills and much more.

The programme is due to launch in the next few weeks once someone is in post.
