Do you use social media? Think you could be an influencer? Would you like to help promote YHA from the comfort of your own home? And develop your research and communication skills in the process?

This opportunity is available to everyone and is especially great if you need to complete the DofE Award Volunteering Section.

We need volunteers to help spread the message about YHA, the work we do and the hostelling movement across various social media platforms – such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Twitter, YouTube, Snapchat and Tik Tok.

To help structure your social media campaign, we will provide you with a 12 week action plan that will take you through the steps of devising, promoting and running your fundraising activity. YHA staff will be on hand to provide advice and support.

As a self-led role, you can decide how much time you want to commit. Our action plan is based on at least an hour a week for 12 weeks, but we welcome longer or shorter volunteering hours – whatever you think you need to complete your amazing social media project!
