Enterprise Live programme

Throughout October we have been running our Enterprise live workshops, we have seen over 40 young people attend. Thank you to our business people for sharing their stories of how they started their own business. It has been really inspirational hearing each persons story.

The next phase:

The 6 week part time programme will be starting soon, the virtual programme runs every Monday 10.30-2.30 from the 31st October – 5th November. The course will not only give young people an insight into starting a business but enable them to put together a business plan, understand finances, marketing and much more. A great opportunity if any young person aged between 16-24 would like to start their own business or would like to find out more.

The course will not only develop the skills and knowledge needed to become self-employed but it will allow participants to build on their business idea. Participants will be assigned a business mentor who will work with them and support them on their journey and help them create their pitch. Participants will also receive the opportunity to pitch for a carefully managed monetary investment (up to £250) to help launch their Enterprise Live business with the intention that the investment would be returned with a targeted profit, as part of their business planning process.
