Henry came into YES feeling very motivated, but he had no luck finding what he wanted. He was interested in sports and gym fitness and wanted to go into either employment or training for a role linked to this sector. Within a week, Henry had been referred to YES and we had secured him an apprenticeship with The Vocational Academy who was running a personal training apprenticeship with the opportunity to interview for a job role at the end. Henry starts his traineeship in June.
This is a snapshot of how YES can very quickly support a young person into employment, education, and training. With the help of YES and The Vocational Academy, we were able to support this young person to see a future in their chosen career.
